I’m sorry for the latest down time on the site. It’s been difficult trying to keep up with work and all my projects lately. I profusely apologize to everyone who has been participating in Lens Day and missing the challenges. I now have an alarm set to alert to post new challenges early on Wednesday morning. Hi Everyone.
Life has gotten very hectic. I have to put Lens Day on hold for a few weeks. We’ll return with a new challenge on Wed Dec 30th.
YAY! I have finally had the chance to sit down and update the site to the latest wordpress and akismet install. Hopefully, this will cut down on the amount of comments put into the hold. I think the first week may pose a bit of a problem, but once I approve everyone’s comments they should be permanently approved.
We have a new look. It’s a little different, but hopefully you’ll find it more pleasing. With this new template, you can now post comments with your entry. Please, only post the title of your entry in this spot on the challenges. Challenges are now only open for seven days, after seven days the comments will be closed.
Shortly, you’ll notice more posts related to photography in addition to the weekly challenges. I hope all the new changes help make Lens Day a more fun and exciting place to visit.

I’m sorry I was unable to post a theme this week. Due to an unforseen event I was unable to get to a computer until now. I think we’ll just take this week off, and have a fresh new challenge next week.

Hello Everyone,
Our plans to move Lens Day to a super fast new server have gone terribly awry. While, we have succeeded in switching servers something strange happened to the SQL export. Even though it we had a backup it looks like due to some odd reason it was overwritten with a very old backup. So, that means we are starting over from scratch once again. This has only happened one other time in our 4 year history, and I hope that it doesn’t happen again. I think that I have everything all back to normal… well, except for the old challenges. If you see anything that I messed up on, or experience any problems feel free to drop us a line.
